National Women Build Week Work Day Saturday, May 5, 2018

Each year Habitat receives a $5,000 grant from Lowe's for our Women Build project. A major component of this grant is participation through community outreach and clinics hosted by Lowe's.

Habitat for Humanity’s National Women Build Week is an annual week-long event created by Habitat’s Women Build program in partnership with Lowe’s. The program invites women to devote at least one day to help families build strength, stability and independence through housing. The week is meant to spotlight the homeownership challenges faced by women.

Saturday, May 5th will be our big day! The location is PAL (Police Athletic League) 1092 Swan Street at Carver Park. It's the building /park / baseball fields in front of our homes on Cedarwood.

The task will be interior/exterior painting, organizing the storeroom, and cleaning up the park.

Volunteer opportunities will also be available May 4th to prep for the day.

Fill out the form to sign up to work. The first 50 who arrive that morning will receive a FREE t-shirt. Other woman build t-shirts and hats/visors will be available for a donation.
