What is Over the Edge?

Over the Edge is a Canada-based special events company that provides signature events for nonprofit organizations anywhere in North America. Participants are invited to raise funds in exchange for the once-in-a-lifetime experience of going over the edge of a local building. The Over the Edge crew handles the technical aspects of the event and Habitat recruits rappellers to participate in the event and raise money on their behalf. How does it work?

To go Over the Edge, individual participants must raise a minimum of $1,000. Sponsorship packages are available starting at $5,000. The majority of fundraising is done online through our fundraising portal (Network for Good) but donors are able to give offline donations through cash or checks by giving that form of payment directly to the fundraiser they wish to support or by filling out this form.

Is there a registration fee?

Yes, all participants have a $50 registration fee to sign up to go over the edge. This $50 will go towards the over $1,000 minimum required to earn a rappelling spot on Saturday, February 29, 2020. If rappellers are unable to raise the $1,000, they will be required to pay the remaining balance by February 29, 2020, to secure their rappelling spot.
