Women Build brings together women from all walks of life to address the housing crisis facing millions of women and children worldwide.

The future project of Women Build is a 4 bedroom house being built in partnership with the Logue family.

30,000 women volunteer with Women Build each year. More than 300 U.S. affiliates have Women Build projects. Since 2007, Women Build has built 2,226 homes throughout the U.S.

The Women Build Mission:

  • Nurture, recruit, and train women to build simple, decent, and affordable houses.
  • Empower women from all walks of life to address the local affordable housing needs.
  • Help eliminate substandard and inadequate housing in Brevard County.

In Brevard County:

  • 80% of new volunteers had no previous construction experience
  • Women Task leaders supervise and train teams.
  • Volunteers keep coming back and bringing their friends!
  • Lots of tears of happiness at the house dedication event!

The Women Build program has a rich history with Habitat for Humanity of Brevard County. The first build was in 1993 and 7 have been completed with the last one in 2018.
